Chongqing held six major foreign investment projects signed and landed in Chongqing at the "National Development and Reform Commission and US Multinational Enterprises in China Senior Roundtable Conference - Chongqing Station" enterprise docking and exchange meeting

On October 21st, Chongqing held an enterprise docking and exchange meeting with the "National Development and Reform Commission and US Multinational Enterprises in China Senior Roundtable - Chongqing Station" at the Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center. Six major foreign investment projects were signed and landed in Chongqing at the meeting, with an investment amount of about 7.57 billion yuan.

The docking and exchange meeting, with the theme of "Building a new inland hub 'Chongqing' and seeing new opportunities in the western region", attracted nearly 100 representatives from more than 60 multinational enterprises from countries and regions such as the United States, Europe, Japan, and South Korea, covering fields such as energy, biomedicine, equipment manufacturing, finance, and modern service industries. The Chongqing Development and Reform Commission and other municipal departments, as well as relevant officials from 23 districts, counties, and development zones, attended the meeting.

The Beijing office of the Energy Foundation (USA) and the Municipal Development and Reform Commission signed a memorandum of understanding on green and low-carbon development. The two sides will cooperate in low-carbon capacity building, circular transformation of new chemical industrial parks, and high proportion renewable energy transformation, and assist in organizing low-carbon technology and product trading exhibitions, implementing training and exchange visits.

South Korean Sikeyuan Company has signed a contract with Chongqing High tech Zone of Western Science City for the China headquarters project of Keyuan Biomass Energy. The Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Chongqing High tech Zone of Western Science City, Chongqing Environmental Sanitation Group, and Sikeyuan Company will cooperate to jointly build a globally leading biomass energy industry platform, with an investment of about 560 million yuan.

Domino's Pizza has signed a contract with Yuzhong District to build and operate its first Domino's Pizza store in Chongqing. It is understood that the project has invested 10 million yuan and has landed its first store in Monument to the people's Liberation, Yuzhong District. Five new stores will be put into operation in succession, including Daping, Jiangbeizui, Guanyinqiao, Jiulongpo and Yubei.

AM Corporation of the United States has signed a contract with Yubei District for a general aviation aircraft and supply chain project, which will build a manufacturing base for light aircraft, large unmanned aerial vehicles, and complete aircraft assembly, covering the entire life cycle from aircraft design, manufacturing to sales and maintenance. The contract amount is 2 billion yuan.

Hong Kong Convince Three Co., Ltd. signed a cross-border RMB equity investment fund project with Shapingba District, and will set up two new cross-border RMB equity investment fund partnerships to attract overseas funds to invest in emerging industries such as auto Internet, consumer finance, supply chain finance, software development, and intelligent Internet of Things, with a contract amount of 2 billion yuan.

Singapore AirAsia Helicopter Company has signed a contract with Bishan District for the Singapore Civil Light Helicopter R&D and Production Headquarters (China) Base Project, which will build a civil light helicopter R&D and production headquarters, including but not limited to civil light helicopter production assembly lines, R&D centers, civil aviation training schools, and maintenance bases, with an investment of approximately 3 billion yuan.

At the docking and exchange meeting, two national level development and open zones including Chongqing Liangjiang New Area and Chongqing High tech Zone of Western Science City, as well as five districts including Yuzhong, Jiangbei, Banan, Changshou, and Bishan, made relevant publicity and promotion around scientific and technological innovation, industrial layout, and business environment, actively seeking deep cooperation with multinational enterprises and creating a new situation of communication and cooperation.
