Spotlight on WCIFIT | Hechuan: Showcasing Over 120 Hotpot Ingredient Products as Its Theme at WCIFIT

From May 23 to 26, the 6th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) is being held at the Chongqing International Expo Center and the Yuelai International Convention Center. The Hechuan Pavilion makes its appearance at this WCIFIT with the theme of Chongqing hotpot ingredient products, located in Booth A07 of Hall N2, covering an area of 437 square meters.
The Hechuan Pavilion is divided into three sections: the first section (left side) displays the overarching requirements and policy measures from the central government, Chongqing municipality, and Hechuan district for the food and agricultural products (hotpot ingredients) industry; the second section (right side) highlights Hechuan's achievements in developing the hotpot ingredients industry and Chongqing hotpot's role in driving the national industry; the third section (center) features product displays, categorized into five major types: hotpot hit products, hotpot condiments, hotpot meat products, hotpot aquatic processed products, and hotpot accompaniments.
The product exhibition area is organized into these five categories, showcasing over 120 products from 46 participating enterprises. These included: Hotpot hit products: 6 enterprises, 9 products (2 municipal-level hit products: Qianrui Marinated Pork Intestine and Zhouwei Tripe; 7 district-level hit products: Yanhua Company's Pickling Salt and Low-Sodium Salt, Juhui Classic Hotpot Broth and Classic Hotpot Oil, Dejia Chinese-style Sausage and Sliced Luncheon Meat, and Muge Hotpot Beef Tallow). Hotpot condiments: 9 enterprises, 30 products. Hotpot meat products: 5 enterprises, 18 products. Hotpot aquatic processed products: 3 enterprises, 13 products. Hotpot accompaniments: 23 enterprises, 50 products.
In recent years, Hechuan District has regarded Chongqing hotpot ingredients as the leading industry to strengthen the district and enrich the people, putting forward the "115" development strategy, focusing on the "Six Ones" as the key, and mobilizing the entire district to build a hotpot ingredient whole industry chain with Chongqing identity, national influence, and world reputation. It has become the only Chongqing hotpot ingredient industrial park in Chongqing and the district explicitly designated by the Chongqing Municipal Government to undertake the gradient transfer of the hotpot ingredient industry, and also the largest hotpot ingredient processing base in China.
It is reported that Hechuan now has three major industrial clusters: compound seasonings, aquatic processed products, and meat products; and six flagship products: hotpot broth, canned meat, beef tripe, beef tallow, pork intestines, and desserts. Altogether, it has gathered 1,554 raw material planting and breeding enterprises, 342 processing enterprises, and 2,071 catering and logistics enterprises. An RMB10-billion-level full industrial chain of pigs has basically been built. It is home to 70 renowned brands such as Laidaxia and Muge, preliminarily establishing a collaborative development framework, spanning "from farm to table."
