CESG Showcases Innovations in Sanitation at the 7th WCIFIT

From May 22 to 25, the 7th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (the 7th WCIFIT) is being held at the Chongqing International Expo Center. With the theme of "New Western China, New Manufacturing, New Services", this year's WCIFIT has drawn global attention to the new drivers of growth in Western China. Chongqing Environmental Sanitation Group (CESG) presents its independently developed intelligent equipment products at the Chongqing Water & Environment Holdings Group's exhibition hall, comprehensively showcasing its breakthroughs and practical achievements in the sanitation sector through three dimensions: new equipment, new processes, and new platforms.

Innovative equipment: high-efficiency compression driving industry upgrades

A highlight of the exhibition is the company's independently developed vertical compression system. Utilizing a "high-in, low-out" vertical spatial layout, this equipment overcomes the limitations of conventional large-footprint facilities, enabling highly efficient compression and transfer of household waste and kitchen waste. With lightweight waste containers and a "one vehicle, two containers" intelligent transfer model, the system supports integrated collection and transfer of both dry and wet waste at the same station and in the same vehicle. A single truck can load food waste, kitchen waste, and other waste simultaneously, achieving zero-pollution transfers at shared waste stations. This innovation significantly improves waste collection and transport efficiency, reduces logistics costs, and advances sanitation equipment toward greater intelligence and efficiency.

Core process: building a kitchen waste treatment technology system

Leveraging three innovation platforms - Postdoctoral Research Workstation, Chongqing Engineering Technology Research Center for Solid Waste Disposal and Resource Utilization, and Smart Sanitation Innovation Application Center, CESG demonstrates its proprietary high-efficiency kitchen waste pretreatment system, centered on a hydropulper. By integrating compression containers with dewatering and residue separation devices, the system forms a complete pretreatment process characterized by high throughput, elevated oil recovery rates, and low residue output. This reflects the company's deep technical expertise and strong innovation capacity in solid waste treatment.

Digital platform: building a smart sanitation management ecosystem

At this year's exhibition, CESG also highlights its achievements in digital sanitation innovation. Its independently developed integrated smart sanitation big data platform incorporates SoC module chip technology, establishing a city-level computing hub for sanitation services and enabling comprehensive digital management. Meanwhile, its 3D digital twin operation and management platform employs real-time data collection and visualization to achieve seamless interconnection of people, vehicles, tasks, and objects - greatly enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of sanitation management. Furthermore, smart inspection devices and the AI-powered electronic command cockpit exemplify the ongoing shift toward precision and intelligence in sanitation governance. It is worth noting that CESG has taken the lead or participated in drafting nearly 10 national, local, and industry standards, filling critical gaps in the field and contributing to the establishment of a smart sanitation ecosystem and sustainable green development.
