Spotlight on WCIFIT | International Logistics Pavilion Makes Its Debut! What You Didn't Know...

The 2023 Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) is currently underway, featuring a record-breaking exhibition area of 180,000 square meters across 13 thematic pavilions, with newly added sections for international logistics and energy-saving environmental protection industries - but what surprises do these bring? Our Diyiyan News reporter is on the ground to investigate!

Vietnamese coffee, Thai chili sauce, Beerlao... At the Chongqing Transportation Holdings (Group)'s pavilion, our reporter encountered a diverse array of global commodities. Guide Monina explained that these products arrived via international logistics channels, including overseas fruits from Chongqing Shuangfu International Agriculture-trade City and European household appliances and daily necessities from Germany and Austria, effectively creating a miniature supermarket. "I just found the Vietnamese coffee I used to buy - never imagined this connection with Chongqing," remarked local resident Mr. Huang.

On Shuangfu International Agriculture-trade City's smart platform, real-time agricultural product prices are transparently displayed: carrots averaging RMB2.83/kg and taro at RMB5.28/kg.

"Our smart taxi-hailing system alerts the nearest available driver, who can then choose to accept the ride..."demonstrated a staff member while introducing elderly-friendly transportation devices already operational in areas like Three Gorges Square, alongside facial recognition for buses and driver credential verification - offering an immersive experience of next-gen transit systems.

As a newly established exhibition zone, this section gathers industry leaders including Chongqing Transportation Group, Chongqing Expressway Group, CGN, Ningbo Zhoushan Port, and Shudao Investment Group - a must-visit for those seeking cutting-edge digital logistics insights.
