Kingdom of Thailand, with a population of 66 million and an area of 513,000 square kilometers. It is one of the founding members of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) . Located in the center of the China-Indochina Peninsula, the location advantage is obvious. It is an important transportation and logistics center in Southeast Asia and facing the ASEAN emerging market with a population of 600 million.

 Agriculture, Thailand is the only net grain exporter in Asia, one of the world's five major agricultural exporters. China is the main export market for agricultural products of Thailand such as rice, cassava, and fruits.

Tourism, Thailand has rich tourism resources, and highly developed tourism. It is the most preferred destination for Chinese tourists to travel abroad. In 2019, there are more than 10 million Chinese tourists to Thailand.

Economic and Trade Cooperation Between Thailand and Chongqing 

According to the information of Chongqing Customs, the total import and export trade between Thailand and Chongqing in 2021 was: 211.1 billion yuan, an increase of 40.7%, of which Chongqing exported 6.79 billion yuan to Thailand, and Chongqing imported 14.32 billion yuan from Thailand.
