WCIFIT Kicks Off Today! Dazhou Promotes Electronic Information Industry in Chongqing, Secures 13 Projects Totaling RMB22.76 Billion
The Dazhou Pavilion at this year's Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) is located in Hall N7-4B15 of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Construction Pavilion at Chongqing International Expo Center, covering a total area of 312 square meters. Centered on the theme of "Co-building the 'Wan-Da-Kai Advanced Manufacturing Demonstration Base' and Establishing a Strategic Pivot for the Revitalization of the Northern Wing of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle," the pavilion serves as an industrial-themed exhibition space.
Adopting a modern and minimalist design style, the Dazhou Pavilion utilizes multimedia techniques such as sound, lighting, and digital displays alongside physical exhibits. It features a dynamic display zone and six industrial exhibition areas dedicated to energy and chemicals, new materials, agricultural product processing, intelligent equipment manufacturing, electronic information, and light industry and textiles. A total of 35 industrial enterprises showcased over 200 industrial products at the fair, comprehensively highlighting Dazhou's remarkable achievements in accelerating the development of a "3+3+N" modern industrial cluster and driving high-quality industrial economic growth.
On the afternoon of July 21, Dazhou hosted the Electronic Information Industry Investment Promotion Conference and Cooperation Project Signing Ceremony, attracting participation from more than 100 renowned enterprises, including Huawei, OPPO, Shenzhen Micromulticopter Aviation, and Chongqing COE.
The event adopted a city-county collaborative approach, emphasizing Dazhou's resource advantages, market potential, and investment environment, as well as its commitment to building a RMB50-billion-level electronic information industry and related development opportunities. During the conference, Dazhou's Dazhu County signed 13 investment cooperation agreements with leading enterprises, covering sectors such as drones, precision components, battery accessories, precision optical lenses, and electronic equipment, with a total planned investment of RMB22.76 billion.
Moving forward, Dazhou will leverage the WCIFIT and the second phase of the province's "100-Day Manufacturing Investment Promotion Campaign" to focus on achieving the "RMB50-billion-level" electronic information industrial cluster target proposed at the 5th Municipal Party Congress. With Dazhu County and Dazhou High-Tech Zone as key gateways, the city aims to establish a critical node for the electronic information industry's "Northeastern Sichuan Development Corridor," injecting robust momentum into building a strategic pivot for the revitalization of the northern wing of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.
