Guang'an City to Participate in the 7th WCIFIT with Over 100 "Guang'an Premium Products"

From May 22 to 25, the 7th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) will be held at the Chongqing International Expo Center. As a regular participant of WCIFIT, Guang'an City will send a delegation to the event, showcasing over 100 types of "Guang'an Premium Products." Through innovative interactive experiences such as a "running"-themed exhibition hall, a giant panda "goodwill ambassador," and an immersive "industrial tree" display, Guang'an will comprehensively present its natural beauty, cultural charm, industrial development achievements, and new highlights in regional integration.

The Guang'an Pavilion, located in Hall N1 (International and Regional Cooperation Pavilion) of Chongqing International Expo Center, covers an area of 416 square meters and is divided into five sections: "Guang'an Image Display," "Regional Integration and Industrial Development Achievements," "Reform Achievements Showcase," "Specialty Products Exhibition and Sales Area," and "Cultural Tourism & Intangible Heritage Products Exhibition and Sales Area."

In terms of design, the Guang'an Pavilion adopts a modern industrial style, featuring a white and silver-gray color scheme. It incorporates diverse exhibition techniques, including an LED screen shaped like the Deng Xiaoping Former Residence Museum, a "Twin-Circles" themed lightbox, and an "Industrial Development Tree" ice-screen installation, blending red culture, industrial aesthetics, and Sichuan-Chongqing collaborative elements to create a "simple, stylish, and sophisticated" visual identity.

The core highlight of the Guang'an Pavilion is its "Regional Integration" theme. At the center of the pavilion stands an "Industrial Development Tree," symbolizing the concept of "Striving to Be the Tree Planters of Mr. Deng Xiaoping's Hometown in the New Era." The tree showcases the "331" modern industrial system via an ice-screen display, representing the fruitful outcomes of the "Twin-Circles" initiative.

To enhance visitor engagement, the Guang'an Pavilion features three interactive zones. In the "Light Up Guang'an" zone, visitors can "run" by swinging their arms to trigger screen transitions between famous Guang'an landmarks such as Deng Xiaoping's Former Residence and Huaying Mountain Stone Forest, offering an immersive virtual tour of the city.

The star attraction is undoubtedly the giant panda "Goodwill Ambassador." The Huaying Mountain pandas "Linxi" and "Yijia" will appear as adorable mascots, parading through the pavilion at scheduled times. Additionally, over 100 exhibits, including black-and-white panda plush bags and Shu embroidery decorative pieces featuring the Chinese character "Fu" (fortune), will be displayed in panda-shaped showcases in the Cultural Tourism & Intangible Heritage Products Exhibition and Sales Area.

The Agricultural and Specialty Products Exhibition and Sales Area will present a dazzling array of Guang'an delicacies, such as Deng Family Salted Preserved Eggs, Auntie Long's Cured Meat Products, Longan Pomelo Series Foods (Beverages), Yuechi Rice Noodles, Navel Orange Fermented Wine, and Camphor Wood Products.

At this year's WCIFIT, Guang'an will present over 100 innovative achievements from the Sichuan-Chongqing Gaozhu New Area - China's first cross-provincial jointly built demonstration zone - including institutional breakthroughs such as the "appropriate separation of economic zones and administrative divisions" reform experience and cross-provincial integrated tax collection and management.

In the industrial exhibition section, automotive components produced by Sichuan-based enterprises like Sichuan Jianghua Enyi Technology Co., Ltd. and Saite Refrigeration - 80% of which supply Chongqing's leading automakers including Changan and Seres - will highlight Guang'an's strategic positioning as Chongqing's "ideal industrial partner."

Notably, Guang'an will debut its "Guang'an Consumption Map" and "Guang'an Cultural Tourism Map," comprehensively featuring scenic spots, recreational destinations, and culinary delights across all counties (cities, districts) to provide tourists with one-stop travel guidance.

During the fair, Guang'an's delegation will participate in the WCIFIT opening ceremony, conduct investment promotion activities, attend thematic forums organized by the committee, visit Chongqing's commercial and tourism development sites for study tours, and invite prospective enterprises to explore opportunities in Guang'an.

The head of Guang'an Municipal Commerce Bureau stated that leveraging WCIFIT as a platform, the city will vigorously advance "five integrations" with Chongqing - development planning, infrastructure, industrial synergy, digital construction, and public services - to channel more "Guang'an premium goods" into national and global markets via Chongqing's hub. This initiative will accelerate Guang'an's full integration into the Chongqing Metropolitan Circle, expediting its development as a Sichuan-Chongqing Cooperation Demonstration Zone and the Northern Sub-Center of Chongqing Metropolitan Circle.
