The 5th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) is currently being held in Chongqing. Changdu, Tibet, made its appearance at the event and attracted strong investor interest, signing five investment promotion projects with a total value of RMB655 million.

As one of the regions benefiting from Chongqing's paired-assistance program for Tibet, the Changdu Pavilion at this year's WCIFIT was elegantly designed and divided into five sections: "Economic Development", "Cultural Tourism", "County/District Features", "Achievements of Industrial Aid-Tibet Programs" and "Premium Local Products". These fully demonstrated the economic development achievements of Changdu City.
Reporters observed that more than 20 enterprises from Changdu participated, showcasing over 100 products. These included yak meat, highland barley products, wine, Tibetan medicine, Tibetan fragrant mushroom, fritillaria, cordyceps, and other plateau specialties, as well as handicrafts such as Thangka paintings. The exhibits were rich in variety and distinctive in character.
On site, there were also free pulse diagnosis consultations offered by well-known Tibetan medicine practitioners. Painters from Changdu created Thangka artworks live, highlighting the artistry of traditional Tibetan Thangka painting.
On the afternoon of the 19th, a Changdu, Tibet Investment Promotion Conference was held, during which five investment projects were signed with a total value of RMB655 million, covering fields such as energy equipment manufacturing, animal husbandry, trade and logistics, and cultural tourism.
