The 6th WCIFIT | Four Sections, 22 Enterprises... Dianjiang Showcases Its "Specialties" at the 6th WCIFIT
On May 23, the 6th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) officially opened at the Chongqing International Expo Center. Dianjiang organized a total of 22 enterprises to participate, including Guoyang Valve Group Co., Ltd., Chongqing Hesheng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Tiansheng Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Huanianghong Food Co., Ltd. These exhibitors cover the "2+1" leading industries of advanced materials, auto-moto equipment, and food, pharmaceutical, and agricultural product processing, with 14 more participating enterprises compared to last year.
The Dianjiang exhibition hall is located at Booth B03 in the N8 Modern Manufacturing Zone of the Chongqing International Expo Center.
According to reports, the design of the Dianjiang hall draws inspiration from the county's signature industrial product - intelligent valves. Pillars modeled after valve shapes support the structure, while blue piping connecting valves at the top links the entire exhibition space. A central ice screen displays videos of blooming peonies, symbolizing how the intelligent valve-led industrial cluster underpins Dianjiang's developmental foundation and bridges its path to the future.
The hall is divided into four sections: "Impressions of Dianjiang," "Industrial Dianjiang," "Investment in Dianjiang," and "China-Chic Dianjiang". Through static graphics, dynamic videos, physical exhibits, live interactions, and multimedia installations integrating sound, lighting, and electronic effects, the exhibition comprehensively showcases Dianjiang's high-quality development achievements.
At the center of the hall, models of intelligent valves and prefabricated buildings produced in Dianjiang attracted significant attention from attendees. In the "China-Chic Dianjiang" section, local delicacies such as "Huanianhong" fermented glutinous rice, dendrobium steamed buns, and Chuanjiu steamed duck drew crowds for tastings and purchases.
This year's WCIFIT features county-led industrial parks as the primary exhibition units. Dianjiang High-Tech Zone is advancing a "one park, three clusters" spatial layout, achieving integrated development across the Guiyang-Taiping-Chengxi macro-cluster. It has established a "2+1" modern industrial system focused on advanced materials, food/pharmaceuticals/agricultural processing, and automotive/motorcycle equipment. Notably, the intelligent valve industry has emerged from scratch as a key growth highlight. Currently, Dianjiang County is intensifying efforts to build a western China intelligent valve industrial base through targeted investment promotion, iterative upgrades to manufacturing structures, and active integration into Chongqing's "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system.
In 2023, Dianjiang High-Tech Zone achieved an industrial output value of RMB20.69 billion (up 6.8% YoY), tax revenue of RMB850 million, and fixed-asset investments of RMB4.18 billion (up 45.1% YoY), with an industrial concentration rate of 87.6%. All 13 metrics for zone qualification met acceptance standards, earning titles such as "Chongqing Demonstration Zone for Industrial Transfer" and "Municipal-Level Green Park." With increasingly robust development momentum, Dianjiang strides more firmly toward its vision of "industry as the cornerstone of prosperity."
