Nan'an· CQETDZ Pavilion Debuts at the 7th WCIFIT

On May 22, the four-day 7th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) commenced at Chongqing International Expo Center. Nan'an District and Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone (CQETDZ) participated with local enterprises, comprehensively advancing investment promotion, trade cooperation through consumption initiatives, and open exchange collaborations. During the exhibition, the 210-square-meter Nan'an· CQETDZ Pavilion made a striking debut.

Themed "New Western China, New Manufacturing, New Services," the 7th WCIFIT featured three major exhibition zones: Comprehensive Image, International & Regional Cooperation, and Modern Industries, spanning approximately 110,000 square meters (with a synchronized online pavilion). The venues covered the Central Hall of Chongqing International Expo Center and its northern N1-N8 exhibition halls, with the Nan'an· CQETDZ Pavilion located in Hall N6.

Aligned with the WCIFIT theme, the pavilion showcased the district's achievements in the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity. It highlighted milestones in Chongqing East Railway Station Hub, Digital Chongqing, and intelligent manufacturing, while underscoring high-quality development in digital economy, innovation ecosystems, and industrial competitiveness to foster an international consumption center city.

The pavilion comprised three sections: "Open Hub·Connecting the Future" spotlighted Nan'an's integration into the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor through exhibits like the Chongqing East Railway Station Hub real-scale model and China-Singapore collaborative projects. "Intelligent Manufacturing Hub · Empowering Upgrades" featured flagship products and services from Nan'an's "Lighthouse Factory," Midea Refrigeration, Hesai Radar Systems, Meixin Smart Home, and EAST-ZHONGXUN Cryptographic Services, demonstrating advancements in "Digital Chongqing" and manufacturing leapfrogging. "Enjoy Life·Charming Nan'an" presented the 2025 Cultural-Tourism-Commerce Opportunity List, 10 premium travel routes, the Spring Festival Gala drone light show, and the "Explore Nanbin" mini-program, reflecting efforts to build a core International Consumption Center City hub and integrate commerce, tourism, culture, and sports.

During WCIFIT, Nan'an District and CQETDZ will host main venue and dedicated investment project signing ceremonies, with a series of projects set to launch in the district, further elevating industrial competitiveness and driving high-quality socio-economic development.
