The 7th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade is held in Chongqing Today

On May 22, the 7th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (hereinafter referred to as "WCIFIT") was held in Chongqing.

This year's WCIFIT was themed "New Western China, New Manufacturing, New Services", with a focus on fostering and strengthening new quality productive forces and promoting high-quality development. The event invited Thailand as the guest country of honor, Sichuan province as guest province of honor, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as a guest city of honor. The fair mainly comprised two parts: exhibition displays and thematic activities.

The exhibition featured three thematic zones - Comprehensive Showcase, International and Regional Cooperation, and Modern Industries - distributed across nine exhibition halls with an estimated exhibition area of 110,000 square meters, while simultaneously establishing a virtual exhibition platform.

The main event encompassed 34 thematic activities, including a flagship event on how producer services facilitate modern industrial development, foreign investment promotion events, international economic and trade activities, government affairs programs, guest-of-honor activities, and related supporting events.
