Dadukou's "Boat of Technology" Debuts at WCIFIT

From May 22 to 25, the 7th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) is being held at the Chongqing International Expo Center. This year's WCIFIT, themed "New Western China, New Manufacturing, New Services", mainly consists of two parts - exhibition displays and thematic activities - and features three thematic zones - Comprehensive Showcase, International and Regional Cooperation, and Modern Industries - distributed across nine exhibition halls. The event has attracted guests and exhibitors from multiple countries and regions around the globe to gather in Chongqing.

The Dadukou Exhibition Zone, located in Booth B02, Hall N5 at the Chongqing International Expo Center, was themed "Smart Health Coexistence, Crossing into the Future". It features a "Boat of Technology" carrying wisdom and innovation, showcasing Dadukou District's development pattern of a smart medical equipment industry focused on in vitro diagnostics, and fully building an "Intelligent Monitoring + Smart Rehabilitation + Telemedicine" system. It also highlights advanced manufacturing led by technological innovation, symbolizing the transformation from an "old industrial dock" to a "new smart port". A total of 26 companies from Dadukou present products in various fields including big data and intelligent industries, big health and biomedicine, the automobile and motorcycle industry, modern producer services, and the noodles industry.

It is reported that at this WCIFIT, Dadukou District has signed agreements for several projects, including Guangwu Zhongnan Sichuan-Chongqing Headquarters, Xinhua Fuhui Chongqing Health and Wellness Center, Whole-City Direct Drinking Water Project, New Energy Comprehensive Station, General Medical Industrial Park, and the Sinopec Lubricant Company Synthetic Grease Branch's technological upgrade and capacity expansion project. The total investment reached RMB16.75 billion, covering trade, elderly care services, modern services, the new energy vehicle aftermarket, and healthcare and biomedicine industries.
