The "transparent car" draws attention.
On May 22, the 7th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) officially opened. At booth N7-B01 in the Modern Industry Exhibition Zone, the Wanzhou Pavilion, themed "Rivers Converge, Lakes Shine" blended the ecological charm of lakes with the industrial vitality of rivers. Bringing together 15 local enterprises known for their famous, premium, unique, and innovative products, the pavilion was divided into five distinctive exhibition zones, drawing large crowds of domestic and international buyers.
Stepping into the Wanzhou Pavilion, visitors were immediately immersed in an atmosphere blending technological innovation with cultural heritage. On site, the "transparent car" from Chongqing Pinghu Jinlong Electrical Technology became the focal point of attention. Through its see-through body, components such as the drive motor and wiring harness were clearly visible. "One of the Class-A materials in the drive motor - the coil - uses flat electromagnetic wire produced by our company," explained Shang Hua, Sales Director of Chongqing Pinghu Jinlong Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. "We are currently the only manufacturer in Southwestern China capable of producing these rectangular flat wires for new energy vehicles. Our annual production capacity is 50,000 tonnes, with an output value of about RMB 5billion."
Front and center in the exhibition hall, an OLED transparent screen robot manufactured by Chongqing Hande Hi-Tech Robot moved back and forth, playing a promotional video of Wanzhou. "The product adopts the latest transparent OLED technology. The entire screen is only 3mm thick and is equipped with a laser radar underneath for automatic obstacle avoidance," introduced Liang Zhengwei, General Manager of Chongqing Hande Hi-Tech Robot Co., Ltd. "Its main application scenarios include shopping malls, hospitals, and government service halls, where it can serve as a humanoid guide or narrator."
In the food processing exhibition area, boxes of caviar shimmered through a layer of icy mist at the booth of Chongqing Zhenze Import & Export Trading Co., Ltd. Holding a silver spoon, Chairman Tan Mingcheng gave a live demonstration: "Use a shell spoon to gently press; let the tip of your tongue break the thin membrane and savor the burst." Next door at the tea booth, Luo Shiping, Vice President of the Wanzhou Tea Association, invited guests to taste Three Gorges green tea and black tea. "With the WCIFIT platform, we can raise our product's visibility and better expand into domestic and international markets," said Luo.
This year's WCIFIT, the Wanzhou Pavilion focused on industries such as food processing, advanced materials, equipment manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals and chemicals, showcasing over a hundred specialty products. These included Three Gorges embroidery, Carpenter Tan, Ausca Oils and Grain, Shixian Taibai Wine, Wanzhou Flavors series, rose-scented orange juice, protein-based medical dressings, and densified wood boards - all highlighting the latest progress and achievements in Wanzhou's efforts to build three modern industrial systems.
"The WCIFIT is an important window for Western China to showcase its image and expand openness and cooperation," said an official from the Wanzhou District Commission of Commerce. Through the WCIFIT platform, we not only present Wanzhou's thriving industrial ecosystem but also convey our determination to set sail globally, injecting new momentum into regional economic development.
