Changdu Exhibition Hall at 5th WCIFIT Makes its Debut

On May 18, the 5th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (hereinafter "WCIFIT") commenced in Chongqing. The Changdu delegation from our region organized over twenty enterprises showcasing nearly one hundred exhibits at Chongqing International Expo Center.

The Tibet-Changdu exhibition hall of WCIFIT featured exquisite design and abundant exhibits across five thematic sections: Economic Development, Cultural Tourism, County/District Specialties, Achievements of Industrial Aid-Tibet Programs, and Premium Local Products - comprehensively demonstrating Changdu's economic progress.

Exhibits included plateau-specialty products such as yak meat products, highland barley foods, wines, Tibetan medicines, Tibetan fragrant mushroom, fritillary bulbs, cordyceps, along with handicrafts like thangka paintings and wood carvings - presenting a diverse array of distinctive regional offerings. Concurrently, renowned Tibetan medicine practitioners conducted on-site free clinics to promote traditional Tibetan medicine; while acclaimed Changdu artists demonstrated thangka painting techniques, showcasing the artistry of Tibetan Buddhist scroll art.
