The 7th WCIFIT | Over 100 Leading MCN Agencies, 200+ Influencers... 2025 "Chongqing Products Gather Online" E-commerce Resource Matchmaking Conference Is Held in Liangjiang New Area

On May 22nd, as one of the key events of the 7th WCIFIT, the 2025 "Chongqing Products Gather Online" E-Commerce Resource Matchmaking Conference and the Selection of New E-commerce Resources was successfully held in Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing. The conference attracted participation from over 100 leading MCN agencies, more than 200 influencer hosts, 50+ private domain leaders, and 200+ upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain across China.

It is reported that Liangjiang New Area is actively seizing the "new track" of the e-commerce industry by leveraging the 40,000+ square-meter Bolaa New Energy Vehicle Industry Live Streaming Base to establish the nation's largest new media live streaming experience center for automotive brands. Additionally, the cross-border e-commerce industrial chain has converged at the Chongqing Lianglu Guoyuan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone, forming the largest e-commerce industry cluster in the municipality.

At the event site, eight key digital commerce projects in Chongqing, including Chongqing Digital Commerce Innovation Center, Weidian 24 Southwest Strategic First City Project, Chongqing Food Digital Marketing Base, and Tiktok Zuoting Project, were signed in a single ceremony.

Taking Chongqing Digital Commerce Innovation Center as an example, the center has now been built in Liangjiang New Area as the first digital commerce eco-park in Southwestern China, which will be rooted in the southwestern region while radiating its influence nationwide, facilitating the aggregation of digital commerce resources in Chongqing and driving the high-quality development of the municipality's digital industry.

Another project launched in Liangjiang New Area is Weidian Group's "Weidian 24 Southwest Strategic First City Project," which aims to intelligently upgrade convenience stores, helping traditional retailers reduce costs and increase efficiency while stimulating consumption and boosting the nighttime economy.

During this conference, multiple e-commerce platforms unveiled exclusive policies and resource support plans tailored for western China, creating a "fast track" for the growth of western brands. For instance, Tiktok launched the "Douyin Mall 618 Good Goods Festival" and the "Chongqing Recommender" program; Tencent introduced the "Chongqing Vibrancy" initiative and the WeChat Gift E-Commerce Empowerment Plan; JD.com rolled out the "New Foreign Trade · New Engine · New Selection" program; while the Dewu platform focused on "Embracing Youth Power" to share emerging opportunities in e-commerce development. Concurrently, the "Chongqing Live Streaming Carnival" invited popular live streamers such as Rongchang Brother Jiang, Qin Dan, and Yibuxiaoxing to conduct live exploration broadcasts at the Liangjiang New Area Pavilion during the WCIFIT.

It is reported that Liangjiang New Area has completed the 14-million-square-meter Liangjiang Digital Economy Industrial Park, nurturing 2 national-level and 5 municipal-level e-commerce demonstration enterprises, attracting over 90,000 market entities, and fostering more than 200 enterprises with annual tax revenues exceeding RMB100 million, forming two "dual-100-billion" level industrial clusters. In 2024, the online retail sales of Liangjiang New Area's directly administered zones surpassed RMB35.8 billion, marking a 35.8% year-on-year increase and accounting for 40% of the total retail sales of consumer goods.

Moving forward, Liangjiang New Area will continue to safeguard development with optimal policies, enhance efficiency through warm services, and consolidate strengths via a robust ecosystem, collaborating with enterprises to jointly sketch a new vision of "cloud empowerment and digital-real integration" and co-create a new chapter in e-commerce development.
