Smart New Energy Scooters, Jiangjin Jade, Beer Laos... Chongqing Hub Port Industrial Park Shines at WCIFIT

From May 22 to 25, the 7th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) was held at the Chongqing International Expo Center and the Yuelai International Convention Center. Eight enterprises from the Jiangjin Zone of the Chongqing Hub Port Industrial Park, including Chongqing Lexing Innovation Technology Co., Ltd., Chongqing Jiangjin Jade Culture Industry Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Jinzhou Import & Export Trading Co., Ltd., made a remarkable debut with their flagship products, capturing the attention of numerous buyers and media representatives.

This year's WCIFIT, themed "New Western China, New Manufacturing, New Services," featured three major exhibition zones: Comprehensive Image, International & Regional Cooperation, and Modern Industry. Each zone comprised several specialized sub-exhibition areas, covering a total exhibition space of 110,000 square meters.

The Jiangjin Exhibition Zone, located at Booth A05 in Hall N6 of Modern Industry Exhibition Zone, spanned 360 square meters. It featured sections dedicated to the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor Chongqing Main Hub, the Pioneer Zone of Chongqing Hub Port Industrial Park, Shuangfu Industrial Park, Degan Industrial Park, Baisha Industrial Park, Auto & Motorcycle Exhibition Zone, and the Simian Mountain 5A Scenic Area.

"We conducted extensive promotion and meticulous selection to organize eight companies that best showcase the zone's strengths in opening-up and industrial development," stated a relevant official from the Jiangjin Zone of the Chongqing Hub Port Industrial Park. The exhibits encompassed advanced materials like Basalt fiber and rail transit cables, cutting-edge tech products such as smart e-scooters and cost-effective laptops, as well as cultural and tourism products rich in selenium, including Beer Laos, Jiangjin Jade, and prickly ash skincare items.

Having participated in WCIFIT for consecutive years, the Jiangjin Zone of the Chongqing Hub Port Industrial Park showcased key achievements of Jiangjin District in bolstering the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor Chongqing Main Hub and accelerating the construction of the Chongqing Hub Port Industrial Park.

Since the Chongqing Hub Port Industrial Park officially commenced construction in April 2024, Jiangjin District has highlighted the dual imperatives of "hub" and "industry". Focusing on three leading industrial sectors - advanced complete equipment, advanced materials, and modern logistics & supply chain services - the district has leveraged effective approaches like "capital investment attraction", "talent investment attraction", and "industrial chain investment attraction". Concurrently, it innovated the "1+1+3+N" project service mechanism, establishing a full-cycle service system from project signing to operation. These efforts accelerate the enhancement of hub capacity, industrial development speed, and international cooperation quality, striving to contribute Jiangjin's part to Chongqing's goal of building a comprehensive hub for inland opening-up.
