Wanzhou Signs Four Major Central SOEs - Chongqing Cooperation Projects at the 5th WCIFIT
On May 18, the Signing of Central SOEs - Chongqing Cooperation and Key Projects of the 5th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (the 5th WCIFIT) was held at the Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center, where Wanzhou District successfully signed four major projects.
According to reporters, these four major projects include: a RMB2.5 billion China Grain Reserves (Sinograin) grain storage project with a capacity of 350,000 tons, a RMB1 billion Hong Kong Yuanheng Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, a RMB5 billion CNBM New Materials Industrial Park - Green Building Materials Base, and a strategic cooperation agreement with China Construction Third Engineering Bureau.
"These projects cover key industries such as advanced materials, food processing, equipment manufacturing, and emerging industries", said a Wanzhou District official. The CNBM New Materials Industrial Park - Green Building Materials Base is planned to build two new dry-process cement clinker production lines with a daily output of 6,400 tons each, as well as a premium manufactured sand and aggregate production line with an annual capacity of 10 million tons. Hong Kong Yuanheng Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park will focus on producing structural components for 3C smart products, smart home and automotive precision parts, as well as high-end chip packaging and testing products. China Construction Third Engineering Bureau intends to deepen cooperation with Wanzhou in major livelihood projects, key infrastructure, urban integrated development, and emerging industries. China Grain Reserves (Sinograin) plans to build 350,000 tons of shallow circular silos and supporting facilities. "These projects will help strengthen and extend the industrial chains of Wanzhou's leading industries," the official added.
