The 4th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT) is being held at Chongqing International Expo Center from July 21 to 24, where the Kaizhou Pavilion, themed "Land of Marshals and Lakes, Delightful Kaizhou," showcases the district's achievements in industrial development, investment attraction, and cultural tourism to accelerate the construction of a modern Kaizhou characterized by "One Core Pole, Two Major Hubs, and Three Functional Zones."
Located in Hall N7 (Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Construction Pavilion) with an area of 210 square meters, the Kaizhou Pavilion primarily displays the latest cooperation achievements between Chengdu and Chongqing as well as key node cities. The exhibition layout is divided into three sections: "Flavorful Kaizhou," "Delightful Kaizhou," and "Open Kaizhou."
The "Open Kaizhou" section highlights industrial development achievements, investment policies, and key projects, featuring corporate profiles and products from major industrial enterprises. "Flavorful Kaizhou" demonstrates rural revitalization and agricultural development accomplishments through specialty and export agricultural products. "Delightful Kaizhou" presents cultural tourism achievements via videos and live performances, showcasing Kaizhou's cultural heritage, distinctive tourism resources, major tourism investment projects, and cultural creative products.
At this year's WCIFIT, Kaizhou District organizes 33 enterprises to participate, including electronics and information technology companies such as Jiabaocheng Energy, Zhike IoT, and VDL Electronics; equipment manufacturers like Chongqing Qualidy PRECISION Mechanical Industry Co., Ltd. and Xinhuilian; biomedical firms including Wangye Biology, Tianzhi Pharmaceutical, and Rongkangtang Pharmaceutical; materials science enterprises Hiton Environmental Technology and Zhiben Group; as well as "Flavorful Kaizhou" specialty products like Zishui Dried Tofu, Nanmen Brown Sugar, Kaiweizai Snacks, and Kaizhou Sausages.
During the WCIFIT's signing ceremony for key projects, Kaizhou District will ink a RMB10-billion agreement with Chongqing Guanhui Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd.
The project involves constructing a 4×1200t/d photovoltaic glass production and deep-processing base in Kaizhou, which will drive upstream and downstream investments in photovoltaic components. With planned land use of 800 mu (approximately 53.3 hectares) and total investment of about RMB10 billion, the project will establish four 1,200t/d photovoltaic glass production lines, ore refining processing lines, supporting deep-processing lines for photovoltaic glass, and photovoltaic glass component production lines. Upon reaching full production capacity, the project is expected to generate annual output value exceeding RMB6 billion and contribute no less than RMB580 million in annual tax revenue.
