"Chongqing Week in Singapore" to Be Held in Singapore from 10th to 13th

On June 9, the Chongqing Municipal Commerce Commission announced that "Chongqing Week in Singapore" will take place in Singapore from June 10 to 13. Chongqing has organized a delegation of over 100 members to travel to Singapore for this "Land-Sea Rendezvous".

First launched in 2023, "Chongqing Week in Singapore" serves as a key cultural exchange initiative under the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity (referred to as the CCI), and has become one of the flagship events of the CCI.

The "Chongqing Week in Singapore" will be held at Ngee Ann City on Orchard Road, Singapore. The event will feature exhibition zones showcasing Chongqing's cultural tourism and intangible cultural heritage, traditional Chinese medicine from Chongqing, "360 Bowls of Chongqing Flavors", China Time-honored Brand and Chongqing Time-honored Brand, as well as urban imagery of Chongqing. Brands such as Qiaotou Hot Pot Seasoning, Chenchangyin Mahua Crispy Cracker, Taiji Group, Tianyun Grass Cloth, and Zhangyazi (Preserved Duck) will make their debut in Singapore during the event.

Coinciding with the activities, the "China Opportunities · Chongqing Brands" promotion event will also take place. Chongqing's cultural tourism sector, along with districts including Yuzhong, Nan'an, Rongchang and Pengshui, will present themed promotions such as "8D Magic Metropolis, Beautiful Chongqing", alongside dedicated sessions highlighting Chongqing cuisine and traditional Chinese medicine.

During the "Chongqing Week in Singapore," two major events will be held: the CCI-ILSTC International Cooperation Forum & China-Singapore Financial Summit, and the 2025 Land-Sea Economic Forum.

The CCI-ILSTC International Cooperation Forum, as an international, branded, and professional regional cooperation and exchange platform, will focus on the new trends and characteristics of ILSTC's development. It aims to provide insights and build consensus for achieving the goal of "ILSTC driving logistics, logistics driving trade and economy, and trade and economy driving industry", thereby promoting regional economic development. The China-Singapore Financial Summit serves as an important platform for financial exchange and cooperation between China's western region and ASEAN countries, a key window for the opening-up of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, and a significant symbol of Chongqing's financial openness and development.

The CCI-ILSTC International Cooperation Forum & China-Singapore Financial Summit is jointly hosted by Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), with co-organization support from the Chongqing Administration for China-Singapore Demonstration Projects and Chongqing Municipal Office for Financial Affairs.

The 2025 Land-Sea Economic Forum will be held on June 12, themed "New Corridor, New Markets: Trends and Visions for Chinese Industries Expanding into Southeast Asia". The forum will bring together prominent international guests to explore cooperation opportunities in the China-ASEAN regional market and facilitate the overseas expansion of Chinese enterprises into Southeast Asia.
